Sommerbrass is a summer course for adult brass band musicians who want a solid and inspiring start to the band year. The main focus is on musical development, with plenty of playing and a varied repertoire drawn from the brass band tradition, led by skilled and experienced instructors.

During the course, participants work both in full ensemble and in smaller chamber groups. The course also provides a strong framework for professional exchange and social interaction with brass band colleagues from different parts of the country.

Sommerbrass is held at Voss Folk High School, located in western Norway, about 100 km east of Bergen.
